***Refer to the RadialMenu help forum for the must up to date information.***
RadialMenu runs as a tray icon, right clicking the icon in the system tray will bring up a menu enabling access to the settings dialog as well as the option to exit the application.
With a fresh install RadialMenu will have a default blank menu that is used for all applications that aren't associated with a specific profile, initially no buttons will be visible as they are NOT preset to an action but are disabled. Disabled buttons won't appear on the live menu at all.
Activating/Displaying RadialMenu
By default RadialMenu can be activated by pressing CONTROL + SHIFT + Z or CONTROL + MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON. This can be changed in the settings/options window. Note that after changing the activation hotkey you have to exit/restart radialmenu for it to take effect.
Options
The Options button in the top right corner of the settings dialog will bring up a window allowing you to change start up options and edit the hot keys that activate/display RadialMenu. Many hot key combinations haven't been tested so be careful what you choose!
Profiles
At the bottom of the settings dialog is the profile configuration. By default there is a blank entry which is the default profile used for all applications that don't have a specific profile associated with them. Clicking the '+' or '-" button will create and delete profiles. Clicking '+' will bring up a dialog to choose the executable to associate with the menu that is active in the editor.
Customizing Buttons
Right click on a button to bring up a window that allows you to customize the button. This window allows you to set the text and image displayed on the button, it can be set to display both image and text or any combination of the two. Choosing an action from the action menu will display the settings required for that action.
Actions
Macro
The Macro action will reveal a drop down to select from any macros you have already created and a button to open the macro editor to edit/create new macros. Once done creating/editing a macro it will need to be selected in the macro selection drop down to assign it to the button. The title of the button can be edited and does NOT have to be the same as the macro command associated with it.
Submenu
The Submenu action allows the associated button to open a new menu that will appear in place of the active/parent menu when clicked. This menu has all the functionality of a normal menu. When editing submenus you can move back to the parent menu by clicking the '<<<' button in the bottom right corner of the window. Clicking the associated button will reopen the submenu for editing.
